We might not be able to get together with loved ones at the moment, but you can make plans with friends and family to take part in the world’s largest wildlife survey, all from the comfort of your own homes. Get others involved!!
The RSPB are holding their annual 'Birdwatch' and would like your help. You just need to spend an hour counting the birds you see in your garden and tell them what you saw. It really is that simple!
You can visit the RSPB website below to register how many you count Big Garden Birdwatch | Join the fun - The RSPB
The official count doesn't begin until the 29th January (next Friday) but why not get ahead and learn bit about the birds we can see in our gardens?
Perhaps you could make a bird feeder this week to encourage more birds into your garden.
You could find out about the birds you see at home and do some art work of them - a drawing, painting of sculpture.
For older children, you could create a Powerpoint or a booklet about British Birds and share them with your class on Google Classroom.
Send us a photo so we can 'tweet' your great work!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
