Hi everyone, Rico here!
I hope you and your family have stayed fit and healthy during this trying time. I’m sure you’ve heard of those people who need to stay indoors to keep safe. Well, I’m one of those people and need to stay in class to keep safe. For this reason I will be unable to visit you in your home this year.
However, I have asked the Queen Bee for some help and she came up with a great idea. She has given me one of her honey bees who will take over my home visits this year instead of me.
To help name the honey bee I would like you to create a bee from recycled materials and give them a name. You can be as creative as you like. When you have made the bee, take a photo with you holding your creation and submit a photo to DaviesR@hwbcymru.net with your chosen name.
All entries need to be received by 2nd of November.
We can’t wait to see all your creations.
From Rico!
Pebble Positivity!
We would love you to spread some positive messages to the people around Garth and the local area. With a grown up, paint a pebble with a positive statement. Let's spread the message that everything will be okay and that we can all help each other if we are feeling worried or sad.
When you have finished your pebble, you could leave it on your garden wall for people to look at when they go out and about.
Alternatively, we would love to see you leave your pebbles in our plot in the Garth Community Garden on Bridgend Road.
Send your teacher a picture when you have created your pebble!
Stay safe and get painting!
Garth Sunflower Challenge
We will be sending you a sunflower seed to plant along with instructions on how to help it grow.
We want to see how many sunflowers we can grow by September!!!
You should receive your pack next week. We hope that you all join in and enjoy watching something beautiful grow. Good luck everybody.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
