NUMBER - COUNTING ONE MORE – Ask 5 guests to your party (family/toys/teddies). Can you lay the table for your party? Count out the forks, knives, spoons, plates and cups as you lay the table. Can you add one more each time – 1 fork add one more is 2 forks….add one more is 3 forks……..add one more 4 forks…..
Challenge – Can you find total amounts? How many forks and knives? Spoons and forks? Plates and cups? Knives and spoons? Etc.

Problem Solving - CAPACITY – Find different size beakers and cups for your party. Investigate which holds the most squash, which holds the least squash? Can you put them in order?
Challenge – Can you save wasting squash? Serve your guests - who is not very thirsty and who is really thirsty using your different size beakers?

What will you wear? Describe how you would like your party outfit to look?
Borrow some grown up items if you need to…….sparkly shoes, bow tie, necklace, waistcoat etc.
Challenge – Can you draw your party outfit? Talk about the lovely things you will wear as your draw, “I want to wear pink sparkly shoes………I want to wear a diamond shiny tiara………I want to wear a smart white shirt………I want to wear shiny shoes…………
Reading – When you deliver your invitations to your toys/teddies/family read out your invitations to invite your guests.

Writing – Create invitations to your party and deliver them to your guests.
Make sure you have the NAME, DAY, TIME and WHERE the party will be. Remember to say who the invitation is from …….YOU!

MAKE some food for your party

Challenge – Can you make the Bubbles Fun game? You need washing up liquid, water and something to make a bubble wand e.g. reshape a wire coat hanger
RIGHT TO A NAME AND NATIONALITY
