The ‘Swinging Sixties’
This year our topic will Be will be working through a timeline of important events that occurred during the sixties. This will include; JFK, Moon landing, Martin Luther King, The Beatles, Fashion and lots more. We will be providing knowledge and experiences based on all six areas of learning linked to this topic.
PE day is Thursday and due to the present circumstances, pupils may wear their kit to school on this day.
Reading books need to be returned to school every Monday if they need changing. Your child will be listened to at least once a week during group reading sessions. Please tread regularly at home with your child.
Homework will be set every Friday via Google Classroom and your child will have a week to complete it.
Self Isolating and Home Learning
Should members of the class, or the whole class need to self isolate or be off for prolonged periods, we will be using the Google Classroom and Hwb to manage activities and stay in touch. Please ensure you can access this at home.
